  • Do not buy your trees from big massers like Lowe's. Get natives from your local nursery please! Support your locals for the future.

  • It's important to keep the tree well watered before it goes in the ground too. The tree in the video is wilting because the root ball is bone dry!

  • thx my dad is bout to plant dis tree without any soil uhh dthis video saves he tree!

  • If I feed the tree its own trimmings through the soil does that make me a bad person and the tree a cannibal?

  • “A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.”

  • i hope they put one of these in the mw3 prestige edition

  • I love videos like this on YT! Sharing knowledge is the best approach to produce a best world!

  • @TheBrassHole Or grab some seeds from your neighbors' trees.

  • This is exactly how not to plant a tree.

dont add a pottting mix. trees should planted in native soil only.

Hole needs to be like a bowl not straight down.

Root ball needs to be broken up.

  • @TheBrassHole I agree to a point, but places like Lowe's offer a 1 year guarantee on their trees, and i've never known a local nursey to have a similar policy. And, the price difference is typically pretty big.

  • a pretty good short video but still some important things missing. Nothing is as easy as it seems and for what you are going to pay for trees/shrubs I encourage anyone watching this video to cross reference with as many other videos as you can so you know ALL you need to before you plant.
