ANCHOR:
Foreign pro-Tibet protesters staged a demonstration today near Beijing's Bird's Nest stadium. Here's a look at the scene.

STORY:
Some protesters unfurled a "Free Tibet" banner from an overhead bridge inside the Ethnic Culture Park. Ironically enough, the park was created to promote racial harmony.

Other activists chanted "Free Tibet, human rights now" at the entrance to the park wearing "Free Tibet" T-shirts as police try to make them stop.

Police attempt to stop photographers from taking pictures while frowning local residents from looking on.

Despite security officers fanning out across the city, 300,000 surveillance cameras and tightened visa controls, a number of pro-Tibetan groups have managed to hold small-scale protests across the city since the start of the Games.

Foreign protesters this month have lobbied for everything from religious freedom to Tibetan independence. They have been released or asked to return home.

The Chinese communist regime is sensitive to protests against its rule in Tibet, where security has been stepped up since riots broke out there in March.

  • maybe they should have learnt a bit of chinese before going to protest.

what would americans think if a group of chinese came to their country and started protesting in mandarin...????

  • How much they have been paid for this?

  • In the deepest point of my heart, i hate China. They are racist and discriminating. FREE TIBET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • They are very brave.God bless Tibet.

  • FREE the PRC from Cultural Genocide

FREE China from LIVE Organ Harvesting

  • No matter what you do or say, Tibet will always be part of China. You can change nothing no matter how hard you protest. The best thing to do before irresponsibly saying China invaded Tibet is to learn some history about China and Tibet, because by doing so, you can at least know what was going on here instead of yelling everyting your government and Dalai Lama tells you.

  • FUck your mother fucking cumt

  • 一群无聊的家伙,要是被我碰到,我就上去揍两拳

  • Travel for foreigners is extremely difficult in China and it's bordering countries. They have no shortage of money for undercover operations.

  • To see the REALITY of what happens in Tibet everyone should watch videos like
