The Secret World - Starting out in London

In this video the developers behind the modern-day massively multiplayer online game 'The Secret World' gives you a unique glimpse into the starter experience for players who have chosen to start out as a Templars character in London. Game Director and Executive Producer Ragnar Tørnquist and Lead Designer Martin Bruusgaard explains some of what players will encounter, from the origin story to the first group battle.

If I am reading this right we will actually be in two MMO's at once. The one we know to be the modern world and another one living beside it that holds great evil and it is our job to keep the two unique. It's the next step to Instanced combat and with a rational reason for the instance. I'd agree, this is the future of MMO's and I like what I see. No levels is a futures past, one we abandoned and I like that too. Looks really nice guys.

@zackhanscom Keep in mind this is a MMO, the load has to be kept down as much as possible- as for practicality, that depends on personal style and tastes entirely.
