I'm not sure how you get that impression. When was the last time you saw an atheist video with heavy censorship on the comments page? Do you realize that that's one of the key features of something like half the creationist (or otherwise religious) videos on this website?

Yes, religious people attack atheists for being "closed minded", and atheists attack religious people for using bad logic, but there's no contest in "tolerance" of ideas between the two groups.

@Dasfunkehzeit Perhaps but on youtube almost all atheist seems biggoted and not very tolerant at all. Probably tolerant atheist doesnt get offended enough to make videos from watching all the cool/amazing/dubius/insane religius theorys floating on the tube.

@Dasfunkehzeit and behemuth I'm a Christian, and a political liberal, and I will defend anyone's right to believe however they choose to. I'm not alone. I think it's easy, when you're on one side of an issue, to form one view of the other side, and place everyone in it. We're not all the same. It doesn't threaten me that you don't agree with me. I don't need to berate you over it. Now, do I get the same courtesy? (You being figurative.) More tolerance everyone. =)

@Dasfunkehzeit no, you're wrong about one thing, and it is one of my primary beefs with religion. that is that it is not falsifiable. which some morons like to think equals it can/is true. No, it is simply a round argument. if it cannot be disproved then it should not be taken seriously. How do you disprove a god which (by an idea that was stolen from Aristotle (and later attributed to the christian god) is beyond the material world, the prime mover which is not part of this world

As an Atheist myself, I have to correct you in saying that even though we believe all religion is bullshit, we cannot infact disprove the existence of any deity at THIS MOMENT in time (notice the emphasis), I would say we are just more tolerant than most 'devout' religious types.
