  • the lyrics:

By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion, when we remembered Zion - our temple land.

By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion, when we remembered Zion - our temple land.

answer us, answer us our King, answer us, answer us our creator.

answer us, answer us our King, answer us, answer us our creator.

    and there it goes again.

  • This song makes me long even more for our temple to be rebuilt, and for all of us to go home!

  • מדהים מדהים מדהים! השיר ממש מרגש, גד אלבז תודה! בזכותך יש לנו שיר מהמם לריקוד בהכתרה :)

  • When we will rebuilt the 3º Temple? This is coming, and soon.

  • @hagitdahan

    *high fives*

    Same here. Jewish, and proud.

  • הקליפ היחיד בישראל שהוא נורמלי, ואפשר לראות אותו.

אם אתם מסכימים איתי, תנו בלייק!

  • יבנה במהרה עזרת ה'

It will build soon "beezrat hashem"

  • @hermanamindy Actually in the bridge there are a few lines of Arabic:

Al Yifchad vegorshalim mashala, al yifchad vegorshalim ilchalwa which means

If only G-D will protect the beautiful faces of Jerusalem

    Shalom!

  • @fsroor i love you :)

  • to hermanamindy: there's a section in there that I can't make out what he is singing - it doesn't sound like Hebrew - the translations I see on the comments do not cover that part of the songs. Hey Gad... what are you singing?

  • @PlanetJackman There is no Arabic in this song, it is all in Hebrew. Somebody has posted the translation already. Some parts may sound similar to arabic because the Jews and the Arabs are originally from the same area and so the language was developed around the same time in the same area. That is why Spanish, Italian, and Portugese can sound alike to a person who does not speak those languages; because those languages developed in the same region of the planet around the same time.
