October 8th: The "Phantom" on Twitter (the_phantom) made an annoncement of global importance about the Phantom sequel. That Girl in the Phantom Costume decided to make one of her own with photoshop, her trusty video camera, and a sick but forbiden love.

DISCLAIMER:
Joel Schumacher is not a woman, I mean no disrespect, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all, I love ALW's music, I love all people, and I love you.

The song in the slideshow is "Love Changes Everything" from "Aspects of Love" by Andrew Llyod Webber.

UPDATE:
Next location is a haunted house because I couldn't get ahold of tickets for Hershey. Sorry guys! I hope you enjoy the "reverse scaring" that's instore. I can't wait to kick off my favorite holiday season with you!

  • Well, you know not EVERY sequel flops. There's The Empire Strikes Back and The Godfather Part II...I even find The Godfather Part III watchable at best...except when Sofia Coppola is allowed to so much as appear onscreen. *shudders*.

  • @Mattbrain Well, that's certainly true I guess. This, however just kind of snuck up in us and IMO wasn't needed.

  • I have actually seen the sequel at the previews, and its very good, if a little more intimate in scale to Phantom - songs and score equally as good

  • I've never doubted that the music would be good, it's just the plot and character changes that get to me.

  • Hold on here, I think that I said in this video that I'm not a fan of the idea. I don't think that Phantom needs a sequel but that's just my opinion that I wished to express with humor. Furthermore, I'm afraid that Webber's musicals are in fact not always a hit. One of this most recent, Woman in White, did quite poorly for an ALW show. You can choose to like this sequel as I can choose to not.

  • I've never heard of a successful stage sequel. Then again, has anyone of Lloyd Webber's ability and status ever tried?

The preview tracks released so far are very good and I am pleased he decided to havily alter the story & characters from Phantom of Manhattan (lamest book ever). Ok he recruited Glenn Slater who has done two pretty dull shows (Little Mermaid & Sister Act) which doesn't give me huge optimism, but he's obviously made big efforts on it which suggests to me it might work.

  • Phans unite against the sequel and voice your opinions! The sequel may go ahead but the fans do not have to be silent. Follow LoveShouldDie on Twitter and/or sign up to the brand new Love Should Die fan page on Facebook!

  • That was hilarious! And I agree, I don't Luke Love Never Dies.

  • @TGITPC I would just like to add that if Love Never Dies is a hit, it pretty much breaks Andrew Lloyd Webber's track record of all of his post-Phantom shows flopping when they hit New York!

  • @TGITPC That is definitely a very good point.

  • I agree with you about the sequel - I'm honestly NOT impressed...

About that blooper at the end with "Track Down This Murderer" - Nice voice! :D

  • I am actually an LND addict, but this is just XDDDD worthy.... :P

  • Oh, your videos make me smile (: Btw, coming from a band kid, I can tell you your rants are epic and entertaining. Bye!!

  • @TGITPC Yeah, and he hasn't had a hit on Broadway since Phantom. I did Aspects of Love at my college last year. It did not end well.

  • @TGITPC That is also true. I agree that this sequel wasn't necessary.
