•McDougall's bay : Off the West Coast of South Africa - December 2010
•Extreme Water temperature: 23 Deg C, up to 1km from the coast line.
•High occurrence of Sunfish (Mola Mola).

Gerrida and myself decided to venture into the open ocean and record all the jellyfish floating along the current. (Benguela - supposed to be cold!) Video was shot to a maximum of 0.5m from the surface using a Panasonic FT 1. Swell made holding the camera steady, very difficult, as I had to film from the rocking boat. No wetsuit = not wanting to get into the water with these Jelly's.

Music is a rough splice of a song from my good friend Niel Kruger. Title of the song: "Calm before the storm" - From a CD by the band 'FAVELA'.
