  • where did u buy the displays ?

    nice work though!

  • mail order on the internet. I think they were shipped from Ukraine. If you search on google you will find the odd place still sellling them.

  • The electronics are a kit, I don't think I would have been able to get the pcb small enough if I had started from scratch!

  • Which kit? Kosbo or Urbach??

  • Urbach

  • Do I hear ticking or is that from another clock in the room??

  • yeah just notice that, it is another clock making the noise!

  • such an eye candy to watch!

  • I would definitely buy one of these. Great work.

  • i like the fade effect

  • This is a nice and gentle looking clock, a bit like the BAUHAUS stile.

On these Nixie tubes there should be one pin for each number, all numbers should have a common ground and if actuated, each number is working like a filament. - Is that right?

    Regards

  • Cool!

did u use a microcontroller or pic ?

  • Fantastic

  • Heck, you couldn't have staged it better. It really sounds like it's the NIxie ticking!
