Just in case anyone really cares, that is a curved soprano. The kid sounds pretty dang good, but it's a good idea to start on alto.

ok...lets set the record straight. the kid is holding a curve soprano sax. Its in the key of Bb, one octave above the tenor. There is a curve and straight version of the horn. There is also a sopranino sax in Eb, one octave above alto. Selmer and Yanagisawa make pro models in a staight format, and Romeo Orsi of Italy makes a curve model. There is also a soprillo sax, one octave soprano, produced by a company out of Holland I believe.
