  • LOL, I wanna be a musician that has the ability to play for any church wether it be COGIC or Catholic. I cant limit myself to one style of music. Thats the problem with a lot of musicians, They can only play one style.

The Hammond B3 will always be my favorite, but I'm starting to like pipe organ music again.

  • Sounds like a good tempo to me...just need to make more space at the end of the phrases so people can breathe...i'd be passed out by the end of this...

  • Yeah, thanks for the advice, I will consider that the next time I have to play this song

I have a tendancy to speed up whatever I play

  • A bit swift for most congregations ;-)

  • When I first learned this i would play it fast just so i could get it over with without any mistakes, But its only a bit faster than our organist plays it.

  • Thanks beamn318.. Thanks for posting! You are a good musician. Thanks for putting the beautiful Lutheran liturgy on a YouTube post! Very cool. Keep up the GREAT work. Hope you had a glorious Easter celebration! God bless...

  • keep up the good work,

  • i know what you mean, i've been practically obsessed with the hammond organ for the past two years, but recently i've been reaching back to the classical roots of the rock and roll organ solo, and it leads me to the pipes.

  • I'm organst in a small ELCA church; you better be glad you have that Rodgers organ--some churches don't have them at all.

  • HAHA ! yo Leslie you stewpit ! That was actually funny.

But brother you gotta play some Bud Powell pieces on a two manual celeste. I would LOVE to hear Twinkie Clark on a two manual celeste! I am SURE that you were joking, and if so keep your sense of humor. If you were not joking book a flight and travel overseas expand your mind! Limits are for quitters.

  • I can't hear that without smiling. It lifts up my heart indeed!

  • Nicely played. Wish this was a longer video with more than one Lutheran Liturgy song and wish it was a bit slower, but otherwise fine job!
