Pure class! 100 times better than the crap they show on telly these days and more talent than all those X Factor/Britain's Got Absolutely No F*****g Talent At All contestants put together!
I was lucky enough to meet Eric and Ernie back in the 1980's...both great guys and both sadly missed.

Some of Eric & Ernie's jokes went well over my head when I was little. They weren't blatantly rude, "flamin" was the strongest swear word I recall, but you had to have developed a smutty mind to understand some of their jokes.
They were successful because their humour covered schoolboy pranks such as Erics paper bag and the paper cup gags, getting newsreaders to make fools of themselves and those double-entendres etc.
There was something for everybody in a M&W show...

Nostalgia :)... I still remember the thames tv opening, with their lyrics to the chiming bells... "Here-they are-now. More-cambeand-Wise..." :) Wonderful memories...
