@eteune thats three comments...
shuangshou jians are actually sharp all the way unlike the qing dynasty jian as we know now and the blade is much thicker and it dates to the tang dynasty. unfortunately most shuangshou jians in the modern day are actually poor mimics of the original weapon, which is basically an extra long blade on a jian with a longer handle.
please don't be a dick and mock the video. the gentleman in the video is known throughout china as the guy who brought back that sword

two comments:
1. the sword is 'relatively' light and flexible, most likely 'wushu' steel, you can see it bend and flop around although the video quality is very poor.
2. what is with those light green 'tights' he is wearing??? He certainly knows how to move, but those tights are just plain weird.
3. video quality is very poor (I realize it is old, but it is hard to see and learn from the very very low frame rate of this one)

The sword isn't plastic it weighs 3 pounds. master Yu is a legend in China. I'm studying from one of his masters and I can tell you this sword form is very hard. The sword alone will wear you out. Great performance Master Yu

It's not all that big a deal to him, but he realizes he was cheated.

Someone with his years of experience and power? I don't think he would care

老者威武!!!!!!!
Certainly a fantastic performance, but he's not at all happy that this video is being sold in the USA without his permission and without paying him a fair royalty.

@eteune
you obviously have never used a well made high quality steel chinese weapon. When moving the weapon properly it will bend a bit in the way that it does in this video if the weapon was wushu steel you would hear it make the cracking noise that you always hear at wushu tournaments where that style of weapon is popular. i doubt sifu hui wanted you to learn his sword set from a video it was probably intended as a reference for his students. show some respect and shut your mouth.
