why do you have to put Michael Jackson down who is a great entertainer in his own right? Isn't it possible to call someone great without putting down someone else? Jeez!

This is such a "Lily Evans and James Potter" song... before they went out, I mean.

That is nonsense. First off, it is not illegal to date a 14 year old, as long as you don't sleep with her. And Elvis hardly even dated her, he met her then came home, then she came to live at Elvis house when she was two months short of 18. There was nothing they could get Elvis for, he had done nothing wrong. Not only that, but when they married, Priscilla was well over 18, Her parents could no longer sue for her, she would have to do it herself.

No, this love match was NOT kept under wraps. It was originally a studio romance to get publicity for the movie, so it was MUCH PUBLICIZED. Thing is, they really fell in love. It was in all the movie mags, big publicity.

He did grieve over Priscilla. The employees at Graceland said that for weeks after she left him, they could hear him in his room. "We could hear him pacing, we could hear him cursing, but most of all, we could hear him sobbing". He was devastated when Priscilla left him. Lisa said he would say, "honey, try to get mommy to come home so we can all be a family again". Of course, he dated others. I guess he knew that was better for him than to just lay down and die.

She has spoken about him now, and in only the most respectful of terms. She is the only one in Elvis' life who has never trashed him, if you ask me. Too bad he didn't marry her. He chose the wrong woman.

Elvis was not an oldies act. He was still having hits and it's true that he was stuck with bad movie contracts, but this was not one of his bad movies. This was a great movie starring two people who were really in love.
