@mixedog although he does have second thoughts when he falls in love with emily hence why he goes to the hospital to speak to the doctor as she says her chances of survival are very low this only solidifies his decision to carry out his plan, although really it shows you how powerful love is and how selfless his character is as to take his own life to save the women he now loves. this film is slightly more complicated then it may seem but yet the basic idea is so simple and clever, great film!

@gerrez69 he didnt give his eyes to the blind man lol, he gave emily the heart because she was a good person and needed it, ezra was a lonely blind man who wasn't quick to temper so ie. wouldn't get angry and hit a women. he gave her the heart yes but the bigger gift was giving them each other, to have a new life together maybe having the family one day, that emily and tim talked about in bed together. what makes the story sadder is he fell in love with her n still had 2 go thru with his plan!!

Met Michael Ealy at a reception a couple years ago. We talked briefly and he was very humble. Said not much was happening career wise. He's since starred in Spike Lee's "Miracle At St. Anna and played opposite Will Smith in "Seven Pounds." Wish my career sucked like that.

His brother followed him cause his IRS ID was missing, cause Tim was impersinating him. You see, Tim (Will Smith) wasn't really working for the IRS, he was an aerospace engineer or something like that. Anyways, so his brother follows him cause Tim stole the ID and his brother was asking him what was going on, why he is impersinating him and stuff. That's all. His brother just wanted to know what was going on.

This movie was absolutely amazing and view on life has completely changed.

10/10!!

i loved this movie so much, just saw it today, the only part i didnt understand was when he was at emily's house and he was going to his car to get the present, and then his brother was there, why did he follow him and what were they talking about? can anyone explain please? apart from that this is a beautiful movie which really portrays to lovers in a dramatic scenario, leaves you thinking. 10/10

because of the accident seven ppl died so wanted to save/help 7 people with his wife being dead and the crash being his fault he thought he was obligated to help others by doing what he did at the end

i saw the movie but it is still confusing to me? i mean i wont give the end away but why did will do that to himself and why did he help seven people by also again doing that to himself if you know what i mean? is it because that accident was his fault? and the end, i really dont get it? someone knows? thanks
