good video, it's sad that once you cross the boarder from VT to NY you can tell that you feel like you've entered a scene from deliverance. Don't get me wrong I'm a native New Yorker and lived in NY my whole life, not sure why this effect is true because it's only a man made imaginary line, I hope things change NY has a lot to offer.

Edward's store is closed for good. All their business was lost when they repaired the Main St. bridge.
Funny, of all the comments I have received on this video, yours is the first negative one I have come across. Maybe it's you that is depressing...LOL.

Hey!I grew up in Granville and always consider it my home town. I grew up in a time when Granville was in a lot better shape. You could drive down Main Street and every store was used and it felt like a small town. Now Telescope sucks and the union was broken. Half the stores are closed and to be quite honest, it s depressing.
I dont know how old you are or how long you have lived in G-ville.
I call it home with a certain amount of pride and a lot of great memories of a bettr time.

OK...Saratoga may not be 30 minutes away...but I can hop on the bypass...run down 22..hang a left on 4 and a right on 149 through Fort Ann. That puts me at 87 and another 10 minutes later I am at exit 15 to the Spa City...maybe 45 minutes tops...BTW...I drive fast...lol.

Algies is done, Parkers is done...hell...There used to be more bars than hotel rooms in this town. But maybe that's a good thing.
