Hey BigAl, Is there anything that can be substituted in for the miso? I looked in every store in the area and cannot find any place that sells miso. I looked online for it but it is almost 25 dollars for the miso and the shipping cost... Any suggestions?

Miso is fermented soybean paste, and it is salty has hell.

In my opinion, it would have been better without the Mushrooms.

It will taste just as good without the mushrooms.
They are more for texture and garnish than anything.
