Yeah, I'd say so. The SNES version was somewhere between easytype and hardtype (the two versions relesed in japan, it leaned heavily towards easytype). This one is harder than hardtype and paladin Cecil doesn't look like a yugioh character.

It is more challenging than the GBA version. I really like the graphic overhaul and you get to hear the instrumental version of this all over again when you fight the elementals :D
