Perhaps the medication is a big part of the problem. Why do we try to solve problems by drugging people?
The schools brainwash the children with political correctness and then they follow a fraud like Obama.

Has it occurred to you that there's a difference between a SCARY movie and a THRILLER. THE SHUTTERED ROOM was meant(in my opinion)to thrill the viewers. And there was not nearly as much rape as there is in modern film.
The "gang bang" as you called it, was just an example of how corrupt the town was. And the sister is rumored to have had a form of autopsy that wasn't accepted back in those times.
I'm sorry you didn't like it. It really is a masterpiece. But to each their own right?

The husband fights by chopping the guys in the chest. No matter how you do that, it won't do anything to them. This movie also is filled with uneeded rape. I don't mean to offend you, but this movie just isn't scary to me. Something like Silence of the lambs is a much sarrier movie that actually makes some sense. My brother and I were watching The Shuttered room Halloween night and we couldn't stop laghing at it. How come all those hics gang bang that "pretty" girl? What's with the sister?
Because you are to young to remember it and your attention deficit disorder will not allow you to sit still long enough to appreciate a great film. This is the problem with young adults of today. They are so spoiled with modern technology. It's no wonder half of them are on medication. When you have everything at your disposal there's nothing left but to sit and spin. How do parents do it?
I remember seeing this film as a teenager. It scared the heck out of me. Great film. Thanks for posting.
