It's been eons since I've seen the pros do a mid-face air 180 to 180 flow out. Progression Sessions and the mid/early 1990's videos of the Santa Cruz crew are great, in part because of that maneuver. I love seeing it done, well executed of course. Why is it, seemingly, not done any more? It'd be awesome if guys would do that in contests.
