Some clips of a Laserpod. Capturing the effect on my (cheap) cam loses some of its magic, but in a complete dark room, it's a great ambient light.

"The product uses three electronic lasers and three blue and purple LEDs [light emitting diodes] chosen by the inventor so that the combination of their wavelengths as a background to the red laser gives a super sensory experience. This intense light energy is projected through a crystal and the output of this wondrous device can only be described as awe inspiring.

Laserpod is portable and can function for up to 8 hours on three Alkaline AA batteries or run directly from the mains on its powerpack."

  • Also, does the word "laserpod" constantly float around in the projected image as in your video? Can you stop it from doing that?

  • I made this video by projecting the lasers on the box it came in, that's why the logo is shown :)

  • How big of an area are we looking at in this footage? - that is, what is the approximate size of the projection? Does it make any noise when running? Thanks!

  • The size is hard to define, when put in the middle of my room (4m*4m*3m) is lits the ceiling completely with the nebulae and lasers are projected on the ceiling. The angle of which the lasers come out is no more then 45°

It doesn't make any noise unless you put your ear right next to it, then you might hear the rotors working.

  • did you use smoke so that laser can be seen ?

  • Nope. But smoke is cool when blown through the lasers.

  • Mine is installed in the center of my room, projecting the blue nebulae and lasers on the ceiling. Give a nice effect imo.

Maybe yes, it's a bit pricy.
