This is a deck tech of the deck I used at the 2010 PTQ in Louisville Kentucky. I went 5-3-0 with it and finished 29th out of 141. The deck is Grixis Control.

  • why there is no new jace ?

  • @pinkysuspegasus Because they cost $100.00 :)

  • What didn't you play mana leak?

  • @arkivePOD I think I was considering it but didn't have the space in the deck. However, my build was probably not the optimal build at the time. Mana Leaks may have been a better choice over another card.

  • If you need something against vengevine decks, just run haunting echoes.

A card that is extremely underestimated in standard right now, here's why:

In Grixis control you basically kill everything in every possible way you don't want to see. Think of terminating baneslayers, bolting their bloodbraid elfes. countering planeswalkers etc

so what haunting echoes gives you when it resolves is all the threats you've dealt with in the game are now completely gone! leaving few win cons for the Oppo

  • @KlotzProductions

    and hes banned now xD

  • i have an eldrazi deck. i need ulamog or kozilek :p

  • I have a good idea for your side board . If you want to get rid of specific card like that you should put exile card from black deck like :

Sergical extraction is pretty good cause it is an instant so you can cast it has soon has the cards enter the graveyard and it cost One black or 2 life .

my other sugestion would be sadistick sacrament which cost more but take card of different cards so

  • i have made a deck similar to this ,only i have 4 reflecting pools , can anyone tell me which lands i would replace ? thank you.

  • @KlotzProductions they werent so op at that time

  • @KlotzProductionscuz at that thime they werent so op
