The whole point of this scene and this movie as a whole is what poverty and desperation does to a young man who is living as a minority in a wealthy country. He sees all the riches he can't have because of his skin so he has to take what life gives him. O Dog is this young man who has finally gone over the edge and frankly doesn't give a fuck no more.
