  • Thanks Tall Paul

  • Bravo! Great presentation and far superior to the address I saw in 1992 in Edinburgh. Tall Paul from TEXAS.

  • @tallpaul521 Hi Tall Paul glad you liked it. I would like to think it would get me some work but none up till now.

  • As a Sassenach who's endeavoured this recital for a Burns fan club in Central Europe, I'm thrilled to see so generous an interpretation given a wide public. In my capacity as an English teacher this is equally a gorgeous rendition with every possible accoutrement, and something I shall posthaste share with my students.

  • Thanks for that, much appreciated. I am for hire if anyone needs a great Burns Nicht.

  • That was quite a performance, just hope it didn't go to waste all that goodie haggis ;-)

  • @davcechz

Thanks for the nice comments and no the haggis did not go to waste it was donated to the local hostel for the homeless in Perth Scotland

  • Once for school I had to find a poem about an endangered animal.

I know this is about the food and not the mythical creature, but my teacher didn't.

  • A simply wonderful presentation that would have made Robert Burns proud. From your tonal inflections to your gestures and facial expressions, they were all excellent. You are a model for anyone interested in learning how the Address should be done.

  • Excellent performance Harry.

  • @richardaylward This isn't Gaelic.... or even..Scots Gaelic just the spoken form English as was spoken from his [Burns] Aryshire way days, It's just a Dialect... which some folk call 'Lowand Scots'

  • the best Gaelic is unintelligible, this is on a par for Scotland surely, delightfully opaque, exquisitely rendered. The piper would inspire dread if unfamiliar...thanks!

  • nuts this is the east right?

  • This is witout any doubt, the best adress to a Haggis I've seen! Thank you very much indeed! Rolf
