This is a town hall meeting led by Kansas State Senator Tim Owens (R) at Matt Ross Community Center in Overland Park. Joining Senator Owens are State Reps. Jim Denning, Amanda Grosserode, and Greg Smith (all R's). In the audience are current State Rep. Charlotte O'Hara (R) and former State Rep. Dolores Furtado (D).

Most of this town hall meeting was a Q&A session with Senator Owens, an avowed centrist who agrees with Democrats on some issues. The purpose was to allow citizens to voice their opinions on what they thought the role of government should be. One very contentious issue involved the election of state judges, which Owens opposes because it would potentially politicize the judiciary.
