@qSych0 yup those things never wear out, I tried shaving with a 1939 blade too that came with another army shaving kit i got from ebay...it wasn't very smooth

I use to use a safty razor given to me by my father that was given to him by his father, I found the shave only lasted about 12 hours. I now shave with a straight razor and the shaves lasts a full 24 hours, much closer with 2 passes one wtg and the next straight back never up.

@Greenmarine6 I picked up a straight razor not that long ago at an antique store, I need to figure out how to finish the edge on it to shaving form but then im good to give that a go too

It's a double edge razor, single edge is a gem-type razor.
