this part of the interview had the song "you are what you is" playing in the background and they wanted it removed ,i think by warner brothers,or the zappa family and thus some kind of wierd audio has ended up here.

Shows the dumbness of the business end of the music industry that they will stifle an interview just because it has some music in the background. And shows the far reach of their tentacles that they can do such dumb things to someone with FZ's integrity. If it's the Zappa family that's even weirder. Even dumber considering that it's actually promoting the man and his work.

Warner owned Rhino which put out "Beat The Boots #1 and #2" on the '90s -- while retail stores still did most of the record sales -- which were to remain boxed but Rhino broke the eight CD boxes to flood the "Zappa" bins with often detestable audio that only the worst bootlegs had. But the worst of it was that this shit was mixed in with the '90s Ryko output which was of standard quality. Really fucked it up for those who didn't know! Gail and the ZFT seem to be carrying on the Warner tradition!

Is Gail Zappa Jewish? How is it that the world treasure that is Frank Zappa's music is to be jealously guarded and meeted out like so much bacon. Frank would have seen this medium as a platform from which to expand his universe, fan base and thereby fund future projects. Instead, the money grubbing estate has done just the opposite and is using the platform to grab money. Looks like the family business is no longer in the master's hands now doesn't it?

Warner Music Group can bite my furry ass. How is an interview with Zappa their property? Maybe you're upset that we'll get to hear "You Are What You Is" without you getting paid? He was right, these guys are out of their fucking minds. And you know what? I'm going to go out and find the clip, or a transcript of it, elsewhere. So why bother trying to prevent me from getting what I will get anyway? Something that you cannot own in the first place. Fuck you WMG! Choke on your fucking money and rot!
