UG never wanted to inspire anyone. He only wanted to disenchant. All of our ideas are placeholders. We don't know what color the sky is, we are told it is blue. I don't know what you are, so I will call you a man. It goes on and on. We create placeholders for everything. We cannot experience anything except through the use of these placehiolders and we fear the loss of the placeholder we call ourself. There is nothing there.

from all guys out there, claiming they can tell you something about the truth, UG is the only one whose statements can't be falsified, doupted or denied. This truth, that there is no spritual or religious truth and purpose in living , however, can't be accepted by people. We want answerss just because we dont want too feel emtpy, useless and lost.This seeking for something to grab on/hold on seems to be all natural.

For years in a row he climed a stage as a spokesman

for the theosofical society, giving lectures on the Self

and the Divine. So he actualy DID try to inspire before

he came to the conclusion that it was al bogus to him.

If the natural state as he calls it makes a person as bitter

as he was, then i'll happily pass...

This was when he was in his prime. The videos of him when he was older are hard to understand because his teeth were missing. I like this video and wish that it was more clear to hear, but still i understand it. I also wish the interviewer would not interrupt UG so much, but i can't control that either.
