Hi, its in a township so its certainly Low Voltage so no arcing, also very dry foliage, you could get up to 11kv before you`d see any voltage clash. The line almost certainly tripped at this point though but of course they probably charge over there to get the power back on. We over with SSE power distribution also keep Customer Lost Time down to a min. Cut safe my friends.
Looks like a third-world country. I'm sure they killed the circuit or else we'd have seen a big arc. Not like the U.S. where we work everything hot to keep customers happy and eliminate unnecessary outages.
Oh no, that frond totally made contact with what looked like the high voltage and went across all three secondary phases?, that would cause an outage and possibly an injury, the optimist in me is hoping those were some 'training' lines without power..
