I can guarantee you that you would be pulling the gear set and replacing it withing a few thousand KM's if you ran it like that. :P
Great style video for the young guys with A.D.D. though.

you shouldn't be able to turn it that easy
-
@jayguy173 It shouldn't spin completely free.

@jayguy173 Diffs aren't supposed to spin comepletly free.

...What was the point in watching this...

This is too little preload. With the proper preload you shouldn't be able to spin the ring gear by hand at all. This video is an example of too little preload. It should have 15-28 in. lbs and the ring gear in this video may not even have 5 in. lbs. Accomplishing this amount of torque is a PITA. I used a 18 inch breaker bar with 3 feet of pipe. It is doable but not easy.

means a strong decel

YOUR LEFT HAND IS A HOOK

sounds like bad carrier bearings . Also is there a pinion gear installed?? turns too easy
-
Its a bit loose the pinion need to have 15-25 lbs of peload on it so the bearing stay well set .
Neato... I like it when short videos with no editing are interesting enough to hold their own.
