what would happen if you took off the clear plastic thing on the front and back?

the clear plastic thing helps to stabilize it so it doesnt spin as much. but you definitley have to use the trim as well.

compaired to the havoc heli how easy/presise are the controlls?

they're a little trickier. this is a harder heli to fly and the trim is very fickle, you have to get comfortable with the controls to get a stable flight. BUT when you do, it flies great!
