i don`t think this guy is stupid enough to answer that question;as it would be illegal to do so,and would implicate himself.mike eagle,i`am sure you didn`t use a rubber band either,right?because that would bring the wrath of the batfe on you!you meant to say it was only a bump fire using only your finger and the trigger mechanism!in other words;don`t fuck it up for the rest of us!keep it legal please!

@bobsolla
When we were using a rubber band to try and get a better bump firing experience, it was still perfectly legal. We in no way, shape, or form modified the internal trigger mechanism. Adding a rubber band is really no different then simply installing a stronger trigger return spring. And since a trigger return spring is not illegal, I don’t see a problem with this practice. (Something you can currently find many youtube videos showcasing.)

If you look up the 2006-02 BATFE ruling, you will find it attempts to re-write congressional federal law to equate a single "pull" of the trigger, to mean the same as congressional federal law's stipulation of single "function" of the trigger.
In any case, a trigger return or reset spring is not an issue in the BATFE 2006-02 ruling.
I appreciate you bringing this up though. Gave me some incentive to do some research on a subject that brings constant paranoia within the gun community.

pretty nice, did you modify the trigger at all?

nope. we tried using a rubber band, but was easier just using a finger and belt loop.
