@dait1986 yes it opens and there are guns on each side. I had this glorious toy when I was a kid and then I gave it to my cousins, what a mistake. Now it takes like 40 euros to get one in very bad condition. I'm not into toys but I still have some other Starcom vehicles. I miss the Starmax ;(

Quick question... Where it says Starcom on the side of the ship underneath the cockpit didn't they flip open to reveal missiles or something? any one know?

i have one of that too, and is amazing it still work for the back compartment to open after 20year!

Yes! I had this. You could stick the figures or the little starfighter on any of the magnetic bits all over the ship! Sweet.

Man I remember I wanted this thing so BAD! Unfortunately my mom didn't think too highly for expensive toys. Sure me and my bro got a few cool things but we always got the "next best thing". Like instead of "HE-MAN" we got his knock off brother at pic n sav "HE-DUDE". Robotech? oh nay... we got ROBOTICK. you know the ones: the one that says to you, "transform me just a tad and I SWEAR I'LL CRUMBLE TO PIECES?" LOL. Anyways, we didn't get it so we got lego and build it. thank god for LEGO.

Man, they sure don't make toys like THAT anymore! Sure the plastic was a cheap as the next guy's, but at least people were inventive with what they had!

Man I have one of these when I was a kid, been almost 20 years!
I dug it up from my storage only that what I have now is the body- the top and side red gun broke off and all the magnetic bombs are missing!
