How to set up USB in BIOS as First bootable device

IF YOUR BIOS DOES NOT SUPPORT BOOTING FROM USB USE THIS TUTORIAL
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhm8INKArW0&feature=related

Or use siginetusb which is a modified version of plop manager and enables you to boot from usb without installing plop to a disc

  • I get the ATA error when i try to do it with my hdd plz help

  • @aparicioeric1 Connect the drive to your FIRST SATA port, let me know if it works. also you could try changing your SATA controller in bios to 'legacy mode' instead of 'enhanced mode'

  • I got the HD for this, but whenever I go to shut down and try loading this HACKR it says nothing can be booted. Im pretty sure I made my Flash bootable but how do I open the hackr program or do I just copy it over to a flash but it seems like it doesnt take up any space?

  • @darkgreenguitarist hey i've got a laptop and i've this problem too, if i boot from win and try to load the program it shows the hddhackr box and the error that it can't find any HDD plz help!!! i've got an WD BEVS from and old burned lap but it works perfect and want to put it on my 4GB xbox

  • @oursedatedyouth You are such a fool, that IS the reason why I changed the order by this method. This way I dont get messages asking how to do it on another brand of pc, as this way should be universal. Stop looking at other videos similar to what you have posted and trying to pick faults in something.

  • @darkgreenguitarist your instructional video was on an HP bios, so therefore it doesn't matter.

  • @oursedatedyouth Okay so users without a HP bios?
