Hmm I red somewhere that the main character died a horrific death and thats why they were adding another ending..
Oh well then thanks.
-
@camil2003 I don't think the main character is the one who dies, but he loses both Spooky (the very much respected leader of his hacking group) and Nemissa (the bipolar demon chick who's played the role of heroine the entire time). So yeah, it's much better than the Soul Hackers "normal" ending.

Thanks for telling..
Well it sounds better than the Soul hackers main characters fate(They even put in an alternate ending in the psp version).
SPOILERS!! FOR SOUL HACKERS!!
The main character dies.

He sure is. But he takes up the mantle of a devil summoner, and his girlfriend doesn't seem too intent on blaming him for something that was totally necessary and out of his control. Hell, even Rei's pretty accepting of it. So it's a good ending for the most part, I suppose.

@cheeplyOwasp It is. Soul Hackers was Tsukasa Masuko's very last game for the Megami Tensei series and his last game for Atlus. He was a better music composer for the series than Shoji Meguro.
-
@arquebuser I hope so too. His music for the SMT series was better than Meguro's.
-
soul hacker was his last .ME think...
-
@arquebuser I hope so too.

MY EYES! Only SMT games had made me say things like that, but in a good way.
I think this is the last Shin Megami Tensei game that Tsukasa Masuko worked on. After this game, he left ATLUS Co. Ltd.

Masuko still composed soundtrack for Soul Hackers with Shoji Meguro, though SH doesn't have "Shin Megami Tensei" in its title. As an old (?) megaten fan, I hope he will come back to SMT series sometime.
