1997 was the year of Austin 3:16!
1997 Stone Cold was at his best. His in ring skills were at their peak. He was amazing on the mic. Talking shit, and entertaining like no other. The fans didn't know hwo to react to him. He was an equal opportunity ass kicker.

The Rock comes back last night, and that fizzled. 1998's Rock was a million times better than 2012's version

Even back then his knees were fucked. I am suprirsed that he even lasted that long. I am not sure that they should have allowed Steve to go along with all those insults..real or not. Bret Hart has had a fucked life now.

Stone Cold was a nobody in his past and he got a good gimmick and ran with it. I faced him when he was in the WCW and he was a middle carder at best.
