Today's mentality is that the majority of Americans would live by gunpoint if it meant having a gun pointed at their neighbor they don't trust. We would welcome our kids to grow up in a tyranist society if it meant tyranny to people we don't know but where told awful things about. We might just be the most ignorant generation in history to allow our own government to tear down our freedoms and liberty's in the name of fear. It is a humongous slap in the face to everyone who fought to make the US

@davidlory I was in the Marines 12 yrs took 2 bullets in Beirut in 1983.. served in 1st Gulf war. I am proud to have served. I am also fully prepared for what may happen here or elsewhere in the future :-)

It's a sad fact that we indeed had no business in Beirut, he was right about that, but when you lose friends you don't need a buffoon to point it out. Almost 30 yrs since that happened and it still hurts. TY though for your sanity and level headedness..lol

OMG, I can not believe this stuff. Listen if you got shot. Sorry. Herd that stuff hurts. But somehow I don't believe it. @davidlory interesting response, they probably dont think we were ever in Beirut. Besides what's sad is all the people who gave their lives, from the revolutionary war up to know have given him his right to voice that opinion. I also love one liners that dont back anything up :-)
