@Davidko65 Loved The Police from an early age! :) Already subscribed to MarloweDK, but I've only ever appreciated him, I'll be sure to look to his channel for some guidance! Thank you! My main inspiration is Mick Karn but I learn varied bass lines, in addition to scales, inversions and whatnot. I often learn basslines of Joy Division, Kings of Leon and David Bowie to name a few :)
@HumanJarv Good Choice with the Police , I also listened to alot of The Jam prominent bass-lines to learn , you should check out MarloweDK pages on You-Tube probably one of the best bass player/teachers to pick up from , keep playing I've had alot of fun last 30 yrs with it
@HumanJarv think it's Ibanez MC941 yes fretless , he used many with the Police, alternating Fender Precision fretless , is old fretted Fender Jazz the awful 80's Stienberg stick and the upright (electric Double bass he called Brian) amongst others he's responsible for me playing bass for the last 30 yrs. great bass lines for learning could never get the singing bit together tho lol
good grief what a trio of good musicians these were together!

A fantastic version of this song. All three of them are incredible! I only wish they didn't hate each other so much....
