  • parents want other people to do THEIR job!

    That's what we call 'selfishness'.

    You don't need training to do what is natural--day care is the anti-thesis of natural if they need 'training'. Mothers have the spiritual capacity and insight to nurture without formal training.

  • I do home day care/school with my mother. We correct the people who call us babysitters because we get insulted. We are DAY CARE PROVIDERS!

  • Agreed! Formal training is needed. The Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is leading the field in the right direction.
