So I decided to expand the project and do remixes for other games that I really like as well. Here is a house remix of the Neon Night Riders stage from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4: Turtles In Time. Feedback is greatly appreciated and encouraged.

  • I find the beat to be a bit too loud compared with the rest, but otherwise its perfect

  • @Gueccio I still have the original session saved on my computer somewhere. I've been meaning to go back and make some adjustments, just haven't really had the chance.

  • I remember Playing this game just too get to this level. But This is way better then the original.

  • @kievon Thanks for the compliment! And I just accepted your friend request. :-)

  • It's strange, this rendition brings a tear to my eye. Most tmnt remixes out there are metal and what not. But deep house? Wow, I HAVE to do someting similar. DAMN my day job, I'm getting old now hehe ;). Excellent work.

  • @datSilencer That was actually the reason why I wanted to go in this direction with the remix. In general, you don't hear a lot of house mixes of video game tunes; it's always metal, techno, or jazz. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

  • This music fits with Ibuki from Street fighter 3. It does her justice. Kowabunga.

  • I'm with you on that one. I only played the demo of Reshelled and I wasn't too fond of the music myself, hence why I never bought it.

  • Hmmmmmm, nah not my style and neon night riders is my fav. track. sorry :/

  • One of the best fucking remixes ever, hands down!

  • I dig the whole deep house vibe (mostly because I've been listening to Deep house for over a decade as chill out music) but this track had some of the most awesome slapped bass in it that even shined on the SNES.

  • Volume of some of the channels could be mastered a little tighter, some of the sounds are really loud but if I drop my volume I lose a lot of the mids and there's not much balance. Still very clean and smooth track, I like it. :3

I think the beat is fine. 'Cause in club music, especially in deep house, the melody in bg creates a really cool atmosphere. This song really deserves a master and be played in real club, nice work.

  • Secondly if anyone reads any posts regarding the reshelled remix and hasn't heard it, don't waste your time it barely shares any elements of the original and is average at best as an original song.

  • I dig the respect for the original tune in order to do this. The track is funky and if I ever heard it at a club I would go ape shit.

  • I feel a lot of Acid Jazz / Nu Jazz feeling in here. Just love what you've done to the song.

I'd love to hear more house-remixed-game-music. The Genesis' era Sonics have a lot of great songs for that! (Including Sonic CD!)
