Highlights the Lotus Sutra as one of the most wonderful of the Mahayana Buddhist scriptures. Points to skillful means or tactfulness and the eternal life of the Buddha as the main teachings. Asserts that the Buddha of eternal life in the sutra is actually Amida Buddha. Describes key cosmic bodhisattvas who appear within the sutra, i.e., Avalokitesvara, Manjusri, Samantabhadra, and Maitreya. Cross references Samantabhadra to the Avatamsaka sutra.

Well you are still close. Amida and the other Buddhas you listed are considered to be emanations of the Original Buddha. They are all the Buddhas of the ten directions.
As for the Eternal Buddha, I bow to you as we are all the Boddhisattvas from Underground and comprise the Eternal Buddha.
Please note that I accept all comments and will politely debate as long as we are working from the Murano translation. Namu Myoho Renge Kyo.

@djcalico22 actually the lotus sutra states that amita Buddha of the western paradise became a Buddha before sakyamuni, also ALL Fully enlightened Buddhas are the ETERNAL BUDDHA,sakyamuni is the eternal Buddha, amitabha, vairocana, burning light,ALL Fully Enlightened Buddhas are the Eternal Buddha would u like verses in the lotus sutra as evidence?

I will not slander your view, but the Eternal Buddha is in NO way Amida Buddha who was even mentioned in the Lotus Sutra as one of the emanations of Sakyamuni Buddha, the origional Buddha. That is a critical point to clarify. Besides that, thank you for sharing the Lotus Sutra with the masses.

This man says the Shin Buddhist/Pure Land Buddhist interpretation of Lotus Sutra which views Amida as Eternal Buddha.
The Tendai, Lotus, and Nichiren Buddhists views Eternal Buddha Shakyamuni (different from mortal Shakyamuni) as Eternal Buddha.
