Aktually I dont want to say much to 861945japan. to start a comment about the A-Bomb with "i am proud to be an american" is so low and ignorant. This is real. Paul sells little A-Bombs at his webpage and celebrates the A-bomb attack on civilians ( women und children).

He says it ends the war. What a statement?. Try to proof this Statement!

@tank3ful I know that. What I'm saying is, he could repay his emotional debt to the Japanese by flying supplies to them, and not an atomic bomb. That probably would've changed many peoples' opinions of this man. he killed them, and now, he helped them.

If we attempted to end the war Conventionally, and take the japan mainland, they would have lost a million civilians. we would have lost a few hundred thousand soldiers. The bomb actually saved lives. It could have been your grandfather getting killed, and hence you would not exist today. Gen Tibbets is gone, but he carried out orders, just like the Japs did at Pearl Harbor. He doesn't deserve to be treated as a mass murderer. He owes no debt to Japan!

No Europeans have any right to be critical of Gen Tibbets. When the French were crying as Hitler was marching through Paris, they were more than happy to see us killing Germans and leveling Berlin and killing German civlians with B-17 bombing raids. Those millions of Germans who lost their lives are nothing but an afterthought for them now, but they are critical of us for killing japanese civilians? Our military grave sites in Europe should be everlasting shrines, to our sacrifice for them.
