This scene doesnt effect me until Johnathon says "Bye-bye" I rewind it to that twenty times and I just sob. John reminds me of my father, who isn't doing well health wise. I don't know if he'll be there at my wedding, or get to see my own kids. He was married before and got to do it all with my oler sibblings, who are in their 30's, but I'm only 14

I think what tugs those heartstrings extra hard is that there's really nothing like the bond a child has with a father who knows how to be a great dad. My little girl hugs me and never wants to let go and every time her sweet voice calls out "Daddyyyyy!" I get a little choked up inside knowing that some day, I'm gonna have to say good-bye. There's nothing like a "Daddy's" love and I think it's THAT fact that gets everybody lachrymose by the end of this scene.
