This is a TV spot I produced for the Utah Department of Health promoting the need for people with diabetes to get their A1C tests done. In doing so, they reduce their risk of several irreversible health consequences.

So basically, the actor in the spot had to learn his 30 seconds worth of lines in reverse, so that when we flipped the film around everything goes backwards but we can still understand (for the most part) what he is saying.

  • it sounds like he's speaking with an italian accent

  • It was done backwards. Type in the search "backwards diabetes" and you can see the original footage with the man saying the lines backwards. It was an amazing job. You should check it out so you can fully appreciate it.

  • They should put Stephen Hawking in more commercials

  • Really? I think he sounds more like the French actor Mathieu Amalric.

  • The word "major" is hard to say backwards?

  • not bad but the dialogue wasnt backward it was just altered

  • I was the guy in the scrubs in the background. The main character (whose name I can't remember) did an amazing job. I think we shot that hallway scene about 50 or 60 times until we got it just right.

  • A1C 5.7!! CHYA!

  • ASID

  • GlyPerfect worked for me! I took GlyPerfect exactly as directed to help with a difficult 20 year bout with Type II diabetes. My blood sugar normalized. My HbA1c dropped to 6.2 from 8.2. My background includes developing the Maverick anti-tank missile. I am now consistently free of Diabetes symptoms.

  • That's amazing!
