AMD Athlon II x4 630 Processor Unboxing

This is the unboxing video of AMD Athlon II x4 630 Quad Core processor. This processor is AM3 processor, backward compatiable with AM2+ motherboard. I am using Asus M3N78-VM Motherboard, with 4 Gigabyte of RAM and 1TB of Western Digital Green Drive. The processor performance well on video editing, video decoding and multi-tasking. It is mid-ending Quad Core processor, without L3 cache. It is no where close to Intel Core i5 or even Core 2 Quad Q6600. This is a budget Quad Core processor for people who wanting have Quad Core experience but short with money. This is not a performce processor, nor a processor for gaming rig.

have this for my computer just thought id see if there where any videos describing how outdated it was :( AMD Athlon X4 630 NVIDIA Geforce GT 240 video card 2 gigs of ram a 2 tara bit hard drive and i built it for roughly $900 usd 2 yrs ago i need more ram though :(

@ThePillarOfSpartan you can simply put more memory (If you have DDR3 it would be nicer :) ). You can also grab Nvidia 560 or Nvidia 560Ti, then you will able to run most modern game again. Worth to upgrade.

@pekar5 Oh. i am using the stock cooler... it is fine for me since i am not overclocking this processor. If you are looking for overclocking, you need go for some better cooler. There are some out there are very nice and inexpensive.

I juse a HD5770 with 1 GB Ram. Ok GTA IV sliders are set to 50 but thats more than enough. For example, GTA IV and Mafia 2 are more CPU dependend, they need a quad core.

@RonTaboga oh well, that's good. Which graphic card are u using? Yea, games are more depending on graphic card then CPU.
