This video sequence shows a train departure from Switzerland's railway station "Kleine Scheidegg" (2061 m / 6762 ft) up to Jungfraujoch (3454 m / 11333 ft), Europe's highest altituede railway station. The train run from "Kleine Scheidegg" to Jungfraujoch lasts around 45 minutes.
The Jungfrau Railway is a pioneer of all mountain railways and began operating an all-year-round service from "Kleine Scheidegg" to the Jungfraujoch in 1912 . The mountain terminus is the Jungfraujoch, altitude 3454 metres, where two underground station halls house Europe's highest altitude railway station.
The most important stretch is the 7 kilometres / 4 miles long tunnel through the rock of the Eiger and Mönch. Two intermediate stations, Eigerwand and Eismeer are situated in caverns blasted from solid rock. Both have panorama windows giving absolutely breathtaking views deep into the Alpine world.
I love Grindewald and all of Switzerland. Once I get out of college I am going to try to move there. It's sp much better than the U.S.

The Bernese Oberland is indeed a loverly place on earth, in summer and in winter time. But there is no doubt that there are also very beautiful places in the U.S. - like in many other countries.
But I'm glad that you like Switzerland and especially Grindelwald!
