1977 Slingerland Drums

My dad's vintage 1977 Slingerland drum kit wrapped in the White Tiger Pearl finish. He bought the kit brand new in '77 from his drum teacher and has kept it in the good condition it's in by keeping it in the trap cases and completely tearing them down once a year and waxing/polishing all the hardware, shells, and cymbals. I love this kit and hope to have it for my self someday.

@jesseroman3 Yup, the song during the photo slideshow is Krupa. My dad is a Krupa fanatic and learned jazz based on Gene's styling back in the '70's when he started playing.

Nice set ! I have a Tux coat with tails that matches it perfectly. I met Krupa and had a conversation with him when I was 12. He signed a matchpack for me. I was just starting to take drum lessons and my mother took me to see him play at a club where she worked. He was a hell of a nice guy. I guess that was about ' 72. I heard he passed away a year later. I was fortunate to meet him and see him play in person. I'll never forget it. I love his playing. I'm still playing drums 40 years later.

Wow, They still look new! Very Rare wrap and one of best looking ever made, and if I remember correctly, only available on Slingerlands. Priceless!
