WTF are you talking about? It's no harder or easier than with regular tuning. Plug into a tuner and get to the frequency you want the string to be at. It's not like they're playing super down-tuned where you can't tell if you're in tune or not.

And what the hell does 'calibrated' mean? You mean set-up? Of course their guitars are set up; they have guitar technicians and most of the guitars are vintage Fenders which hardly require any set up anyway.

it's really difficult to keep the guitar in tune when using different tunings... especially when the instrument it's not calibrated.

so kool being able to see 'em playing this stuff :D!
