Jet Airplane Crash In Water "You won't believe what happens"

May 15, 2005, in Atlantic City, NJ , USA

This Cessna 525A skids off the runway and ends in a BAY.

Everybody onboard escapes the plane without major injury. You won't believe what happens next...

Investigators concluded that the pilot touched down too far beyond the runway threshold, on a short runway, with a tailwind of approximately 10 knots.

The plane had almost no chance to stop before the end of the runway.

L'atterrissage de ce Cessna 525A ne se passe pas comme prévu :

l'avion termine sa course dans un lac. Toutes les personnes à bord parviennent à s'extraire de l'appareil, mais c'est alors que l'incroyable survient.

Les enquêteurs ont conclu que l'avion s'était posé trop loin du seuil de piste, sur une piste courte et avec un vent arrière de 10 kts.

L'avion n'avait pratiquement aucune chance de pouvoir s'arrêter avant le bout de la piste.

Wonder why the engine freaked out and started goin. Must have been the computer kicking in or malfunctioning for some reason. Autopilot may have somehow still been engaged?...
