  • lol dunno if he did or not but your suppose to get a new ecu chip , it will improve hp and response much better

  • @spyopz88 ECU CHIP? you mean a new ECU? you dont need a new ECU and actually the piggy back i had was better than buying a pre tuned ECU, i was able to get a much better tune and more WHP out of it. i definately dont suggest changing the ecu, no need.

  • wondering, did you get a new computer when you installed the turbo? If not is your check engine on all the time? and did you pass inspections? thanks

  • have a check engine light due to the MAP sensor. for inspections i pull a piece of the charge pipe off so the car doesnt boost, drive around for a day so the sensors reset then get it inspected.

  • @fd3srules Turbo set up or exhaust? this was a Stainless steel custom turbo back exhaust so from the turbo all the way back was 2.5" mandrel bent SS and 100% custom. $500 for the exhaust.

  • how much would an entire set up like this run, i know someone who is selling an 05' gt sedan and i want to pick it up.

  • hahaha i misread the title i thought you meant a 2.5 liter engine with a turbo and an exhaust setup.

  • stand alones are expensive and tricky with this car cuz no one is really modding the elantra. i went with a proven Piggyback (Unichip)

  • its the 2.0L 16v. (beta2) the only motor option for this car in north america. stock exhaust is a 1.75" had a 2.25" custom from the flex back then after the turbo went with a custom 2.25" SS

  • what engine? a 2.5 isnt what they originally came with.

  • you dont need a new "ecu chip" you get a stand alone fuel management system
