  • that looks like a gimmick. you need more intensity to get a proper cure during spray. but hey, its a start i guess.

  • THESE SPRAY GUN DOESN'T WORKS, BECAUSE YOU NEED ABOUT 10 OR MORE MINS TO DRY THE PAINT WITH UV LIGTH, AND THE MAN JUST PUT IT A FEW MINS THE UV LIGTH

  • I used to work in electronics and we used a moisture "proofing" coating called conformal-coat that was UV cured. of course at the time solid state UV diods were very prohibitively expensive so we used a form of hybrid incandescent bulb that would get very very hot and cook anything left in its light path including human appendages, retinas, and lungs. of course the lung cooking part was due to a lack of adequate air circulation and fresh organic solvent respirator filters.

  • UV is use to dry up the solution cmom... i guess so the pain won run.. or puddle... olso i hear some guys use it to find dents and bends on cars

  • always askin myself wy uv light so many times looks purple/pink

    on camera and sometimes trough human eyes

    i think because we don't have cones in our eyes that can

    catch uv,also our eye lenses block most of the uv spectrum.

    and also cameras can't ''see'' uv light.

    what we actualy see is the blue spectrum from the uv range,the higher wavelengts of the uv (uv A waves) activates the blu cones in our eyes...so uv to us looks blu/violet. the most part is invisible to us.

  • @MILOCOCKS im in nz i am an auto electrician but know a spraypainter. makes a water based acrylic lacquer start to cure. he doesnt know entirely.
